Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Zremi. They are written to be readable. By using Zremi you agree to them. If something here is unclear, email hello@zremi.com — we'd rather explain than argue.
1. The service
Zremi is a digital legacy and remembrance platform operated by Zremi LLC, 117 S Lexington Street, Ste 100, Harrisonville, MO 64701, USA ("Zremi", "we", "us"). Partners (estate planning attorneys, hospice teams, funeral homes, end-of-life services, hospital social work) sponsor family access. Families gather a life and invite the people they choose to contribute. Life albums are private by default and never publicly listed.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials private. Notify us immediately at hello@zremi.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Partner plan
The Partner plan is $199 per month and includes 20 family sponsorships per month. Additional sponsorships are billed at $12 each. A sponsorship grants the family six months of full access. Plans are billed monthly and you may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Sponsored families retain access through the end of their sponsored six months even if the partner cancels.
4. Zremi Family plan
When a partner sponsorship ends, families may continue on the Zremi Family plan at $9.99 per month. Pets can be added to a life album for $1 per pet per month. Plans can be cancelled at any time. A cancelled or lapsed family plan does not delete the life album — it remains viewable to invited family members in a read-only state.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload to Zremi — stories, photographs, voice notes, video, messages, documents, and links. By uploading, you grant Zremi a limited license to host, transmit, display, and back up that content for the sole purpose of running the service for you. We do not use your content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Zremi to upload content you don't have the right to upload, to harass anyone, to violate someone's privacy, or to break the law. Don't try to access life albums or accounts that aren't yours. Don't attempt to interfere with the service or other users.
7. Linked online accounts
Zremi can index links to a deceased person's existing social media or web presence. We never log in to those accounts on your behalf and we never store credentials. The status of a linked account (remembered, removed, restricted, etc.) is recorded by the family. Each platform has its own process for remembrance or account closure; Zremi provides a guide but does not control what those platforms do.
8. Life album deletion
The family lead can request full deletion of a life album at any time. We will remove the life album and its contents from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (such as billing).
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep Zremi available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or, in rare cases, suspend access to investigate a security concern.
10. If we ever wind down
If Zremi ever ceases operations, we will notify partners and family leads at least 90 days before shutdown and provide a way to export the life album's content (text, photos, voice notes, video, documents, and the list of linked accounts) in a portable format.
11. Disclaimers
Zremi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not a substitute for legal, medical, or financial advice — including any guidance offered around end-of-life planning. Talk to qualified professionals for those decisions.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zremi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify partners and family leads by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Zremi after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cass County, Missouri.
